I am a wife, mother of 3, lover of books and a Kindle 1-Click addict!
I love to read, I always have. But when my eldest was younger and embraced that annoying stage where he enjoyed destroying everything in sight, I stopped reading. I valued my books, and didn't appreciate finding pages torn to shreds all over the place.
I started reading again when the Twilight movie was released. I went and bought all four books in the series and lost myself completely in them. I absolutely LOVED them! But, then I stopped reading again...
Until 'THOSE' books were released...
You know the ones I'm talking about...
The Fifty Shades series! Fifty Shades of Grey (FSoG), Fifty Shades Darker, Fifty Shades Freed...
Luckily for me, by the time FSoG was released I had learned about these electronic devices called tablets. And I stumbled across these amazing things called eBooks! By this time, my second son was here - and guess what? No more shredded books for me!
As is the case with many other people, FSoG reignited my passion for reading and opened my eyes to the genre that is EROTICA!
The world of eBooks has made my reading life so much easier. Not only do I have the convenience of being able to take my 'books' anywhere I go, I am also able to read them across multiple devices!
So that means my paperbacks are now safe from my destructive gremlins (I mean adorable children)! And, I also have the added bonus of reading whatever I want without others knowing exactly what I am corrupting my mind with ;)
I began to read at every opportunity I was able to and before long I was losing track of what I had read. And so, The Reading Cow was born.
My blog name? Well, my nickname is Moo. I get all variations of it - Moo Moo, Mooza, Moozie - you get the picture. I wanted a blog name that would stand out. After some word play, I settled on The Reading Cow. It's unique and refers to my nickname. The Reading Moo/Mooza/Moozie just didn't have the same ring to it!
I created this blog as a place for me to express my thoughts on the books that I have read. And please note, that's exactly what they are - MY THOUGHTS. We are all individuals and have our own opinions. You may not necessarily agree with mine.
