REVIEW: Love, Lies & A Bleu Christmas by Rebecca Rohman

Synopsis

When Bleu Resorts owner, Jada Kole decided it would be a good idea to keep a secret from her husband, it never once occurred to her that he might have an even more stunning secret than hers.

The last year of Jonathan Kole’s life has been marred by complications, pressure and is beyond stressful both at his law firm and at home. Jada being overseas for an extended period doesn’t make things any easier to deal with.

But secrets have a way of getting out. Add a sultry blonde and a child to the mix and Jada and Jonathan’s happily married life quickly turns into a very dark shade of bleu. As things fall apart, it turns from bad to worse when one of them ends up on the wrong side of the law and something ominous enters their lives.

With Jada and Jonathan battling problems inside their marriage and things disintegrating in every direction on the outside, will San Francisco’s biggest power couple be able to get their lives in order? Or will it bring about the demise of their world and their child’s?

My Thoughts

I hadn't read Love, Lies & the D.A. when I received my ARC of Love, Lies & A Bleu Christmas, so I jumped head first in to it, and then continued on to this story.

I really enjoyed Jada and Jonathan's story. They are both business minded, strong willed and they both know what they want out of life. They are lovable characters and you will find yourself empathizing with, and for them, in no time.

In Love, Lies & A Blue Christmas, we see a softer side of Jada. She seems weak, but with good reason. We also see a more caring side of Jonathon. Once again, characters from Rebecca's other works make an appearance, and I love that we get to see where the couples are now.

As is Rebecca Rohman's form, we get some fantastic and hot love scenes, suspense that keeps you guessing and some action to keep us entertained. I just adore Rebecca's writing. Her stories are unpredictable and keep you invested the whole way through.

Well done Rebecca Rohman on another great book!

I received an ARC from the author in exchange for an honest review.
